Steve Tootill, CEO
Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry and is one of the industry’s original data quality pioneers and co-writer of the initial matchIT application. After gaining a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College, London, Steve spent many years with Computations Pty Ltd, an Australian software house, latterly as Software Director of Computations UK. Following a period as a consultant, Steve became head of IT at Family Assurance, where he realised that there was a dearth of packaged matching software, especially of software that would make use of all the data that a company held about its customers. helpIT systems was established in 1991 to remedy this, with Prudential Life of Ireland as the first user of its first deduplication package.
Ben Gallagher, Director of Development
Ben has been with helpIT systems for almost 8 years and is equipped with 19 years’ experience in the Software Development industry. Ben oversees the R&D and development of helpIT’s integrated and web service products as well as the IT infrastructure. Ben has a BEng in Software Engineering from the University of Sheffield as well as extensive technical skills including .Net, C#, SQL Server, SSIS & T-SQL, VFP, PHP, ColdFusion and Perl. Ben brings much experience to the company and has a background working with database systems and internet search technologies. Ben is also a keen Crystal Palace fan and a member of Mensa!
Graham Clark, Sales Director
Graham is a results driven sales professional with over 15 yrs experience within the software, customer data and print industries. With a vast pool of experience having worked with and designed solutions for the full breath of organisations, ranging from owner operated SME’s to multinational Fortune 500 and Plc companies, both in a direct and channel environment. During his time at helpIT, Graham has built many strong relationships with a host of clients and he continues to nurture and create value wherever he may find opportunities. Customers return year on year and enjoy Grahams personal approach and the fact he’s always available to talk directly with helpIT customers. Originally from New Zealand, Graham arrived in the UK in 1995 and joined helpIT in 2001.
